Description

When I create plaques, I think of them as little story frames—perfect for a favorite quote, a name, or a date you never want to forget. I start by choosing the base shape and orientation, then design the layout for the lettering so it feels balanced and readable from across the room. The resin base can be soft and minimal or layered with subtle veining, glitter, or florals depending on the mood you’re going for. Once the background is cured, I add lettering, embellishments, and any special icons or symbols you’ve requested.

 I use epoxy resin, pigments, foils, vinyl or hand-painted lettering, and sometimes embedded elements like tiny charms or petals. For milestone pieces, I’ll often incorporate meaningful colors—wedding palettes, school colors, or tones that match a nursery or office. Plaques can be styled on shelves, hung on walls with hardware, or displayed on small stands; I design thickness and weight with that in mind. The goal is always to make something that looks intentional and “finished,” never like an afterthought on your wall.

 Each plaque is checked to make sure the lettering is crisp, the surface is smooth, and the colors read clearly in everyday light. I sometimes add a subtle edge finish or border to frame the design and make it feel more polished. For gift-giving, I love including a simple card with the meaning behind the piece so the story travels with it. **To care for your plaque, dust with a soft, dry cloth and avoid hanging it in direct, intense sunlight for long periods.**
